I can't believe how hard it is to get seen at this doctors surgery. I have been a patient since 1989 and I think the service of same day appointments Is awful. In 25 mins of holding on the phone from 8.30 all appointments have been taken and to be told by the receptionist it's not Their problem they are only the messenger is disgusting.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your comments. I was sorry to read your comments about the difficulty you have experienced in obtaining same day appointments. We have now changed the way patients can access same day routine appointments to ensure that any patient who would like to be seen on the same day and all the available routine appointments have been booked by other patients, can speak directly to the GP on Call, usually within an hour of their call. Please collect a newsletter from reception, or log onto our website: eaglehousesurgery.co.uk where it is available under "News" on the home page. I hope you find the new way of accessing same day routine appointments helpful. Practice Manager

i have been with this surgery for a very longtime the service from the nurses and doctors is the best you can get the receptionists will always try to help you i would not change my surgery

Yesterday evening I called the surgery for an appointment as I'm sure I had a chest infection, I was advised by the first receptionist that there were no appointments and to ring Evergreen surgery, there were no appointments left there either. I then called Eagle House again and explained my symptoms and that I couldn't wait until the morning to see a doctor. The receptionist who I have spoke to many times spoke to the doctor and managed to fit me in on an emergency appointment at 5.50pm. I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to the receptionist for her time and care. And of course all the staff at the surgery, you all do a great job. Many thanks Clare Dettmer

The doctor myself and my 6 week old saw was very rude and abrupt. Didn't not listen to any concerns I had and definitely did not carry out the necessary checks required! I came away feeling like it was a wasted trip.

Can never get through on the phone, I've been trying to get an appointment for 3 weeks. I am unable to que for the doctors in the morning due to work si I can't get an appointment.
